Due to be released soon, “Tell Me the Sun” marks Marta De Pascalis’s return to recording after “Sky Flesh”, released on Caterina Barbieri’s label Light-Years. This time, the composer and sound designer introduces us to long analogue electronic soundscapes that unfold over time, enacting rites of expansion and contraction. The narrative moves like a slowly swinging pendulum, oscillating in accordance with the laws of physics and allowing us to gaze into the vastness of the universe. Perhaps into the sun, as suggested by the title and the mesmerising light art constructed so masterfully by Marco Ciceri on stage.
