In the family of those who record on the Príncipe label, there is a web of relationships that links some of the artists who have proudly added the same suffix to their names. These "foxes" are a kind of tribute to DJ Marfox, an expression of respect and admiration for the one who broke new ground and acted as a guide for the others. Finding Van Der in this family tree would hardly be a surprise, as he admits that it was DJ Marfox, his cousin, who sparked his passion for music. However, he’s not related to Príncipe, and in recent years he's made a remarkable jump into techno, with geometric and hypnotic sets. At the same time, his love of modular electronics has led him to create music that is just as captivating. The ambitious material he has prepared for us comes from exactly this new territory — and we are convinced that his ambition will be matched by our admiration.
